 What is a ...?

Our adventure starts in our classroom learning about the sea turtles we find nesting in Florida. Then, we will venture out for a walk along the beach…and the chance to see a nesting loggerhead turtle!

An exciting and unique program about sea turtles beginning in our classroom, followed by a trip to the beach to watch Gumbo Limbo staff release baby sea turtles into the ocean!

Refund/Waitlist Policy

Refunds up to 7 days before event start date.  Log into your account on Eventbrite, and select Tickets to request a refund.  Refunded reservations are released for sale automatically.  There is not a waitlist for cancellations.

There are no refunds or rescheduling due to weather, or due to the absence of a nesting turtle.  Sea turtles will nest in the rain, so our program will go on.  If there is lightning, we will not go to the beach; however we will not make that decision until that evening (afternoon storms often clear up in the evening).  Because the presence of a sea turtle is out of our control, refunds, rescheduling, or other compensation is not available if a nesting turtle is not seen.
