Figgy Pudding's Story
Cold Stunned & Pneumonia
This patient named Figgy Pudding was admitted for rehabilitation on December 18th, 2022. Figgy pudding became cold stunned off the northeastern coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and developed pneumonia. After a thorough veterinary examination, Figgy will begin a specially curated treatment plan consisting of vitamins, fluid therapy, antibiotics, and daily nebulizing treatments to aid in their recovery. Thanks to collaborative efforts with the New England Aquarium and Turtles Fly Too, this sea turtle was able to receive the veterinary care it needed and made a full recovery. Figgy was released back into the ocean in February 2023!
