Acadia's Story
Gotta Get That Hook Off Your Shoulder!
Acadia came to us with the all too common ailment of a hook injury. We rescued this turtle from the Dania Beach Pier, with hooks in each of the turtle’s flippers. Acadia also exhibited signs of pneumonia in the lungs, as well as lethargy and a yellow tinge to their color. Luckily, Acadia made a quick recovery and has been released!
