We have a variety of activities planned throughout the day. Hand stamps for the Art & Science Zone and Face Painting can be purchased for $3 per child at the Activity Sales Tent, located behind the Welcome Center. Reservations for Intracoastal Adventures Samplers can also be made at the Activity Sales Tent. Space is limited for Intracoastal Adventures Samplers, and reservations are first come, first served, in person on March 2 only.

The Art & Science Zone is designed to give children an understanding of the importance of leaving a plastic-free impact on our ocean through fun and educational activities. The activities geared for children 5-12, and includes 4 crafts stations, 4 experiments, and 5 games. A hand stamp is required (includes face painting); purchase a stamp for $3 per child at the Activity Sales Tent located near the festival entrance.
Join us for a peaceful stroll through the hardwood hammock and mangrove forest. A Gumbo Limbo naturalist will help you identify and learn about these amazing ecosystems and the plants and animals that live there. Meet at the entrance to the Butterfly Garden (look for the white arbor in the north west corner of the food court).

Pick up a copy the Festival passport at the Welcome Center or the Information Tent. Visit the five self-serve passport stations in the Exhibitor Loop. After you collect all five stamps, return to the Welcome Center for a prize!
Face painting is included with your activities stamp purchase. Purchase your stamp ($3 per child, cash/credit cards accepted) at Activity Sales Tent located near the main entrance. Face painting is located on the understory level adjacent across from the Shipwreck Aquarium. The line for face painting closes at 3:30 pm.
Try out kayaks or paddle boards with Island Water Sports on a fun, short course in the Intracoastal Waterway behind Gumbo Limbo. Beginners welcome. You will get wet! Sign up in advance at the Activity Sales Tent located near the main entrance. There is a fee of $10 per person for this program, and space is limited (cash/credit cards accepted). Ages 12 and up; children 12-17 must sign-up and participate with an adult. Meet at the Chiki (walk through Butterfly Garden toward Intracoastal).
Don’t miss a chance to meet Luna, our green sea turtle ambassador! Luna will be available for photos, hugs, and high-flippers! Please bring your own camera. Located on the understory level adjacent across from the Shipwreck Aquarium.
Join us for an original performance in the amphitheater by the talented kids from Sol Children Theatre Troupe. Meet in the outdoor amphitheater (in the Butterfly Garden - look for the signs in the Food Court).
