New!  Guided Tours beginning June 1!

Reservations begin 5/18 for residents and members (5/25 for all others).

Beginning June 1, 2021, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center will be offering guided tours to families and individuals.  Advanced reservations are required through Webtrac.  If you do not have a Webtrac account, please see instructions.

For everyone’s safety, access to Gumbo Limbo’s property will only be via registered programs while portions of our Nature Center and outdoor decking remain under construction.

Guided tours will last approximately an hour and a half, and consist of a naturalist-guided walk through our outdoor gardens and unique exhibits. Participants will tour the butterfly garden on the way to the shaded Ashley Trail loop, with a stop in the authentic Seminole Chiki and breathtaking views of the water.  We will see some of our sea turtle patients in the Rehabilitation Facility and get an up-close look at the colorful fish and graceful stingrays in our four large outdoor aquariums.

Restrooms available on-site. Parts of the walking tour take place on a mulched trail.  For more information, including accessibility options, call (561)544-8605.
