Kelvin's Story

Kelvin was rescued by biologists at Inwater Research Group from the St. Lucie Powerplant presenting with severe lacerations from a predator attack to the carapace, plastron, and rear right flipper. Kelvin was extremely lethargic and emaciated when arriving at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.

2021-Jan-20 Rescued from St Lucie, FL with predator attack wounds to the carapace, plastron, and rear right flipper. Wounds cleaned and supportive medications started.
