Ulloa's Story

Ulloa was rescued from Riveria Beach. Ulloa was found floating and extremely lethargic with monofilament entangled around her front flippers and neck. She also presented fibropapilloma tumors near her front and rear flippers.

2021-Dec-06 Minor FP tumor regrowth.
2021-Nov-23 Surgery sites healing well. Continue honey daily.
2021-Nov-16 FP removal surgery performed by veterinarian. Apply honey daily.
2021-Nov-10 Bloodwork shows she is ready for surgery.
2021-Nov-3 Started to eat. More active, raised water level.
2021-Oct-30 Transferred to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center to continue rehabilitation.
2021-Oct-29 Rescued from Riveria Beach and brought to Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Begin supportive medications and completed diagnostics bloodwork and radiographs. Monofilament removed.
