Molecule's Story

Molecule was rescued from the Loxahatchee River near the Jupiter Inlet. Molecule was found severly entangled in monofilament that was attached to a dock piling. She also presented fibropapilloma tumors near her front and rear flippers and both eyes.

2021-Mar-11 More alert behavior but not strong. Veternarian performed wound debridement. Continue honey treatment.
2021-Mar-08 Lethargic and floating behavior. Treated will hyperbaric chamber therapy at TLC Animal Hospital.
2021-Mar-05 Wounds healing well. Begin cold laser therapy daily and apply honey to wounds.
2021-Mar-02 Tumor removal surgery conducted.
2021-Feb-02 Showing some interest in food.
2021-Jan-24 Rescued from the Loxahatchee River. Monofilament removed and wounds cleaned with disinfectant. Begin supportive medications and completed diagnostics bloodwork and radiographs.
