Espresso's Story

Espresso originally was found floating on May 6, 2020 and was brought to Loggerhead Marinelife Center for treatment for  boat strike injuries. After spending several months recovering, Espresso began to develop fibropapilloma (FP) tumors on the flippers and eyes. Espresso was immediately transferred to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center where the patient is currently recovering and awaiting tumor removal surgery.
