Bumblebee's Story

Bumblebee was rescued from St. Lucie County near Middle Cove Beach, FL and was found floating at the surface and lethargic due to a potential lung infection. She has an old impact injury on her carapace and is missing a portion of her rear left flipper. Both injuries are fully healed. Bumblebee has flipper tags indicating that she is a re-stranded turtle. She originally stranded in 2018 with the carapace wounds and was rehabbed and released by Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
