Flash's Story

Flash was rescued from the intracoastal waters in Boca Raton, FL with vessel strike injuries to the head and carapace. The injuries appear fresh and were immediately cleaned up and bandaged. Flash is receiving wound vac therapy on her carapace to the treat the laceration on the carapace.

2019-Sep-15 Turtle succumbed to injuries. Necropsy performed by medical staff.
2019-Sep-13 Continue wound vad therapy. Dry dock. Administer fluids & supportive care.
