Even in these challenging times, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center will continue to play an active part in the conservation community. One of the ways we do this locally is through public outreach, providing booths for events, speakers for meetings, or specialized educational opportunities off site. While we are currently not able to address large groups or gatherings in person, we are offering virtual outreach opportunities for those in our South Florida community and beyond! This allows us to safely reach out to all of you who share in our mission of inspiring stewardship of our coastal and marine ecosystems.
If you are looking for an opportunity to inspire your group, class, or club to stay focused on the task at hand, protecting wildlife and conserving natural resources in our coastal and marine ecosystems, you can request a lesson, lecture, or virtual tour from one of Gumbo Limbo’s knowledgeable staff members by submitting a digital request form, found here:
Virtual Outreach Request
Once you submit your form, you will be notified that it has been sent to us here at Gumbo Limbo. You will be contacted directly by one of our staff regarding your request within three business days, and we will let you know if someone is available to address your group. Please answer every question and use the question/comments section at the end to provide any further information we may need to understand your particular request.
Outreach Activities are offered at no charge to your organization. However, if you would like to support the work we do through a donation to Friends of Gumbo Limbo, please visit this page. Thank you!
