Jak's Story

Back in 2017 Jak was rescued from Deerfield Beach International Pier after being hooked by a fisherman. About two months later he was rescued again from the same pier from being hooked on another fishing line. On the third rescue, it was discovered Jak actually had four hooks, two stuck in his GI and two in his throat. He has passed the two in his GI and the other two hooks were surgicially removed. Jak has made a full recovery and was released at Spanish River Park, FL.
