Captain America was originally stranded on March 8, 2019 and was brought to Loggerhead Marinelife Center covered in barnacles and extremely lethargic. After spending several months recovering, Captain America began to develop fibropapilloma (FP) tumors. Captain American was immediately transferred to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for tumor removal surgery.
