This week our speaker is Whitney Crowder, Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Coordinator, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.

Gumbo Limbo’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility was opened in 2010, and quickly became the busiest spot on campus, treating 177 turtles in the first few months!  Whitney has been with Gumbo Limbo Nature Center since 2012 and has been working in the conservation field for almost 20 years.  She will share the history of Gumbo Limbo’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation program and our plans for an amazing future.

Hosted by the beautiful Boca Raton Spanish River Library.  Meet on the 2nd floor mezzanine of the library located at 1501 NW Spanish River Boulevard.

Recommended for ages 14 & up.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Reservations can be made online.  Walk-ins welcome based on availability.

If you would like to support the Eco-Watch Lecture Series, please consider making a donation to Friends of Gumbo Limbo.
