Florida Sea Turtle Company was started by Skylar Mandell my daughter at age 16 after completing the YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY OR YEA! As it’s called through the Boca Raton chamber of commerce. This is a family owned business with myself , Skylar and my other daughter Sydney. Together We have hand made over 80,000 sea turtle bracelets and have donated well over $40,000 in supporting sea turtles conservation centers like Gumbo Limbo through the sale of our bracelets. We are honored to be known in our community for helping our sea turtles . Our bracelets are now sold in over 80 locations across our state if Florida and in the USA. Every bracelet is handmade with love and can be found in the Gumbo Limbo Gift Shop!

Sustainscape Inc

Sustainscape is a local sustainable landscape design company promoting native plants, organic soils and water conservation. Sustainscape's design approach focuses on natural beauty, practicality, and ecological diversity. Located in Boynton Beach, their nursery has a variety of native and edible plant species available to the commercial industry and residential community. Sustainscape developed Liquid Vitae, an organic fertilizer, based on vermiculture, sargassum, and BioChar. All of their landscape projects and internal nursery practices utilize a proprietary sustainable methodology creating balance in the landscape.

Green Ablutions is a woman-owned company solving the plastic pollution crisis at home with sustainable shampoo and conditioner bars. Each vegan and cruelty-free bar replaces up to three plastic bottles of liquid products for salon quality style without the waste. Their biodegradable packaging ensures nothing ends up in landfills or polluting the ocean. Green Ablutions proudly supports sea turtle conservation by donating 10% of all sales to Gumbo Limbo.

Crazy Uncle Mike's is a brewery, restaurant, and music venue located in East Boca Raton, Florida. Gumbo Limbo Coastal Stewards has sponsored the production of two of Rory Fielding Films' revolutionary documentaries: Troubled Waters and We're All Plastic People Now. With the help and talent of Rory Fielding Films, this partnership has allowed for the creation of two needed documentaries which communicate the plight of sea turtles, coastal environments, and the future of our health as humans to the public.

Fin Pin Shop is run by two women who share with the world our combined passion for marine life through ocean-themed products. We are two biologists who love ocean puns and promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle. Your purchases with us give back to wildlife conservation and scientific research. Together we are helping our oceans!

Love Thy Turtle is an organization dedicated to protecting and conserving sea turtles and their habitats through research, education and community outreach. Love Thy Turtle offers a unique and free biodegradable barrier tape for turtle nests made from eco-friendly materials which not only protects precious nesting sites, but also educates beachgoers on the nearest sea turtle sanctuary with a scannable QR code!

Beach Bucket Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization formed to provide resources for community needs. Their founder, Andy realized the serious problem of marine pollution while getting re-certified to dive, and he's dedicated his foundation to solving the dirty beach problems all too common on our shores. The foundation provides buckets at select beaches where visitors can easily contribute to keeping our beaches clean for the generations to come.

AquaTech Eco Consultants ( is an Environmental Consulting Firm based in Tampa, FL that is focused on providing successful mitigation and restoration results with a cost-effective approach. Through its staff of seasoned ecosystem specialists, who collectively bring several decades of innovative restoration techniques. AquaTech can help grow and restore critical areas in need of specialized environmental services. Aquaticus Plants ( is a full-service aquaculture facility that focuses on growing both fresh and saltwater submerged aquatic vegetation. Using sustainable harvesting methods, we collect all of our plant stock from seagrass beds that are going to be otherwise destroyed. Our methods of collection do not endanger any natural seagrass beds. Aquaticus Plants partners with several Non-Profit Organizations to educate the public on the importance of seagrass and how it benefits the environment. Some of our partners include The Florida Aquarium, Rock The Ocean, and The Ocean Foundation.

Al Salopek and Sierra Malnove, are ethical beekeepers who are leaders in Florida’s honeybee industry, with more than 20 years of experience and knowledge in their field. Palm Beach Creamed Honey is made in South Florida on a thirteen-acre family honey farm with over 900 beehives. Kogia is a nonprofit media library and production studio dedicated to preserving marine life. Kogia partners with ocean-conservation non-profits and researchers worldwide with the mission to empower these people by providing them with free high-quality photos and videos and free advice on how to best tell their stories. They also make films that inspire hope and change, and foster the same appreciation, awe and sense of protection for our beloved oceans through their visual work.

Led by research professor Dr. Megan Davis, Queen Conch Lab is an amazing research and education program within the Aquaculture Innovation and Global Food Security Department of the FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute. Their mission is to grow queen conch for the sake of the species, ecosystem, and people who depend on the fishery.
