Rare Kemp's Ridley Turtle Admitted for Treatment

Late afternoon on February 1, a sub adult Kemp’s ridley sea turtle was brought into Gumbo Limbo Nature Center’s Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility (STRF).  This rare, endangered turtle had been removed from the intake canal at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant by the Inwater Research Group. 

Gumbo Limbo Rehabilitated and Tagged Sea Turtle Included In 100th Episode of “Sea Rescue”
