Loggerhead Kraken is ready to go home! Kraken will be released with a satellite transmitter attached to her shell so we will be able to track her after release. You can join us when we "release the Kraken!" She will be released from Spanish River Park on Tuesday, January 23 promptly at 4:30 pm.

After Hurricane Irma hit Florida on September 11th, 2017, immediate attention was needed for thousands of sea turtle babies that had been washed back from the ocean onto the beaches. Due to the tidal surges and strong waves, it becomes very difficult for the baby turtles to get into deeper water.
Gumbo Limbo's International Coastal Clean-up has been rescheduled for October 28. Please note the we will meet at Gumbo Limbo, and clean the beaches in Red Reef and South Beach Parks. Pease register for this date (if you registered for the September date we need a new registration for this date).
