Children's Programs

Please click on a program title below for additional information, including age restrictions, fees, and registration information.  Please also click on "Family Programs" for additional programs appropriate for children.

Please call our Program Sign-up line at (561) 544-8615.  Pre-payment and reservations required for all programs (unless otherwise indicated).  Please sign up at least 24 hours before a scheduled program to help ensure that your favorite program will not be cancelled.  Registrations will be accepted after this point if the program has not been cancelled and if there are openings.  Programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Payment may be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. There are no refunds unless a class has been cancelled by Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. 

Children must be accompanied by an adult unless otherwise specified.

Indoor Aquarium Feedings

Mangrove and Nearshore Reef Tanks: 10:30 a.m. Tropical Coral Reef and Shipwreck Tanks: 2:30 p.m.

Each day will focus on a new theme. Through games, crafts, and educational activities, our instructors will teach the young conservationist about the importance of caring for and protecting sea turtles and other marine life. Campers will experience close encounters with our resident sea turtles and visit a local nesting beach.
