Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is located at the north end of Red Reef Park. There is free parking on site. There is no beach parking permitted at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. All Nature Center facilities, including the boardwalk, trails, tower and parking lot are closed outside of our regular hours.
There are no picnic facilities or concessions located on our property. We have one vending machine with water, juice and sports drinks for sale. If you plan to pack a lunch or a snack, use the picnic facilities located at Red Reef West, at the south end of the boardwalk. Picnicking is not permitted on Gumbo Limbo property. Food invites unwanted wildlife interactions to our facility that can be harmful to the animals we have on exhibit, as well as visitors, staff, and volunteers.

WE ARE GETTING NEW SEA TANKS!!!!!!
We are excited to announce that the construction phase of sea tank project is close to completion! We are still open our regular hours. Our entire Sea Tank area is a construction site, which means the tanks are closed. The rest of our property, including the Nature Center, Boardwalk, and Butterfly Garden is open! If all goes according to schedule, the first tank will be open for viewing on Sea Turtle Day, March 3, 2012.
