North Trail and Butterfly Garden
Our North Trails feature a Butterfly Garden, which is in full bloom during the months of May and June, an outdoor amphitheatre where partnering children arts organizations often hold plays, and our Seminole Chiki which overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway.
The North Trails are a great place to relax and take in nature. The Butterfly Garden attracts many species of butterflies including monarch, sulpher, and zebra longwing (Florida's state butterfly). Our Chiki overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway where you may catch a glimpse of manatee, a herring, or a juvenile sea turtle. No wading, swimming, or fishing is permitted.
